The Deltagram and Flying Chips

Those who have been in woodworking circles for quite a while might have heard or maybe even read the publications Delta Machinery sent out for it’s woodworking fans from 1932 to 1972, “The Deltagram”. Released every other month, this magazine connected wood working enthusiasts across the country, gave carpentry tips and tricks, and provided instructions for building your own furniture and novelties. From bird houses, to lamps, desks, and book shelves, even a boat or two! In 1963, the publication’s name changed to the “Flying Chips”, though it returned to it’s former name shortly before it’s retirement. So to celebrate our history and to explore the wonderful things made by Delta and it’s fans alike, we would like to share a small part of the collection of the Deltagrams we have on hand. In the future, we hope to add more to this library with other Deltagrams and other Delta-related publications!
